Bruce is a founding member of The Seekers. The first Australian group to become international stars. Bruce developed his song writing skills with The Seekers and has had many of his songs recorded by the group. Other artists to record his songs are Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond and Cliff Richard.
In 1987 he wrote a song with his friend Dobe Newton that changed his life forever. That song was 'I Am Australian.'
Since then his song has become a national icon and has found its way into the homes and hearts of millions of Australians.
